Trail RIding

WF Stables & Tours offer many unique opportunities for horseback riding.  With approximately 30 acres at the stables we welcome visitors to come and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery while riding the trails through wide open fields as well as through the forest.  Trail guides accompany all rides and horses are rented by the hour.  We also offer 3 and 5 hour rides through the Cherokee National Forrest.  All rides are by appointment only.  Number of riders may be limited based on horse availability.

A 300' X 120'  arena is also available for horseback riding.  Many of our younger riders enjoy the security of a closed arena while still being able to enjoy the experience.  The riding arena is a wonderful place for anyone to begin riding or work on improving their riding skills.

Many weekends throughout the year are spent on the trails throughout the Cherokee National Forest.  These rides are day rides that take  3 - 8 hours to complete.  We welcome visitors to join us for the experience of a lifetime as we enjoy all of the beauty that the mountains have to offer.  Ride times and prices vary so contact us for more information or let us know if you have special requests and we will try to customize a weekend package to fit your needs.
